China is prepared to enhance synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Tonga’s national development strategies, and use the bilateral Enhanced Economic Partnership Agreement as an opportunity to boost trade and investment, Premier Li Qiang recently said.
Li met King Tupou VI of Tonga in Beijing.
He called for furthering cooperation in infrastructure construction and industry.
