CITI has hailed the Ministry of Textiles’ decision to withdraw the QCO on VSF, saying it will ease price and availability pressures for key MMF raw materials.
Chairman Ashwin Chandran noted that the move will improve competitiveness across India’s textile and apparel sector.
The industry expects smoother raw-material sourcing and better support for value-added manufacturing.
