US retail sales bounced back in October, showing both monthly and YoY gains heading into the holiday shopping season, the CNBC-National Retail Federation Retail Monitor revealed.
Sales at clothing and accessories stores were up by 1.42 per cent month over month (MoM) seasonally adjusted and up by 7.89 per cent YoY unadjusted.
Core retail sales were also up by 0.6 per cent MoM and 4.89 per cent YoY.
