Covestro has started production at its new TPU plant in Zhuhai, China.
Phase one, backed by a mid-double-digit million-euro investment, delivers 30,000 tons annually for IT, automotive and footwear markets.
Built in three phases, the site will reach 120,000 tons in the 2030s, becoming Covestro’s largest TPU facility and strengthening regional innovation and sustainability.
