Equinor has launched drilling operations at the Raia project in Brazil’s Campos Basin, marking a key step towards its planned 2028 start-up.
The campaign will include six wells in ultra-deepwater conditions and supports development of a major gas resource exceeding one billion barrels of oil equivalent, expected to supply up to 15 per cent of Brazil’s gas demand.
