The EU has approved a €175.6 million (~$207.2 million) package to modernise Montenegro’s 39-kilometre Bar–Golubovci railway on the TEN-T Core Network.
Backed by EIB and EU funding, the project will boost speeds, safety and capacity, support greener transport, shift freight from road to rail, and strengthen regional connectivity, economic integration and Montenegro’s EU accession pathway.
