The EU has expressed keen interest in further expanding trade and investment cooperation with Bangladesh, calling for a more transparent and business-friendly trading environment in the latter.
The interest was conveyed by EU ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller to Bangladesh Commerce Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir.
They discussed reducing non-tariff barriers and simplifying exim procedures.
