Germany has launched Textilfabrik 7.0 in Mönchengladbach to advance CO₂-neutral, circular textile production.
The initiative unites industry, academia and policymakers to trial AI, robotics, microfactory and biotechnological solutions across the value chain.
It also supports structural change in the Rhenish mining region into a modern industrial hub, while creating sustainable jobs.
