Covestro is investing a low double-digit million-euro amount in its largest energy efficiency project, installing a steam compressor at Dormagen.
From mid-2027, it will cut Germany energy use by 2 per cent annually versus 2025, save a low three-digit GWh volume, and reduce CO2 emissions by over 40,000 tonnes a year, supporting its 2030 efficiency target.
