Evonik and AMSilk have expanded their partnership with a long-term agreement to produce sustainable silk proteins at industrial scale.
A new dedicated line at Evonik’s Slovakian site will deliver several tons monthly of AMSilk’s high-performance silk, enabling premium fashion and automotive uses.
The biomaterials are vegan, biodegradable, and target a €16 billion (~$18.76 million) market.
