LANXESS has demonstrated industrial-scale removal of over 99.9 per cent of fluorinated organic compounds from wastewater using its Lewatit MDS TP 108 resin at Chemours Netherlands.
Designed for short- and ultrashort-chain PFAS, the selective resin outperformed conventional treatment methods and supports stricter environmental compliance in fluorochemical production.
