Good news: Hibernation season has finally arrived. If your holidays were anything like mine, I’m sure you’re equally exhausted and ready to get some rest. I’ve been waiting for this quiet period and am so excited to get back into my routine and recharge my batteries. I’m already planning for weekends that will begin with trips to the gym followed by days spent lounging at home and maybe meeting my friends for a casual dinner. This is where my athleisure outfits come into play.

I have been stockpiling matching activewear sets that pair well with my collection of jackets, hoodies, puffers, and more for the sole purpose of perfecting the athleisure aesthetic that I desire. I have quite a few outfit ideas that I lean on, no matter what the weather is serving, that I’ve been meaning to share with you. Call in that effortless shacket or bright hoodie that hasn’t been getting the amount of use that it deserves. Using these outfit formulas, you’ll walk away from this read with a new way to style what you already have and a few pieces worth adding to your cart.

If you’re already wearing a matching set, why not top it off with a plaid shacket that makes for the perfect match. This seasonless outer layer will take your athleisure wardrobe very far.

The perfect top for that morning walk you have planned.

I’ve been on the hunt for ribbed leggings lately, and these are the ones.

The added length on this shacket gives it the oversize look without being too bulky.

I often end up grabbing a coffee or walking with a friend after a trip to the gym, and on the streets of West Village, we dress to impress. No matter where you are, a classic trench coat will always prepare your activewear set for your next appointment.

I’m in need of some extra support, and this bra does that for me.

Red is such a flattering color.

It’s become cliché at this point, but I can’t stop thinking to myself, “Leather weather.”

Dressing like a marshmallow is sometimes a must this time of year. Pile on the layers for wherever your errands take you, and still look chic by choosing the right color scheme for your journey.

Adding a unique color to your wardrobe is always a good idea.

Leggings are the perfect place to open up and try new colors.

The editor-favorite sneakers.

Let’s not leave windbreakers in the ’90s. They’re the perfect lightweight finishing touch that you can take with you when rushing to a workout class or on a run.

The easiest jacket to carry by your side that I own.

You can never have too many crop tops.

This color is simply next-level.

You already know that unexpected color combinations have my heart. When used as a mechanism to dress up a classic sweat set, they pack an even more powerful punch.

I love the retro vibes that come along with this color palette.

The phrase “orange is the new black” becomes very literal when you have this hoodie.

I can just tell these are soft.

I’m going to go ahead and call this the 2022 uniform. I can’t imagine an easier outfit to run around in.

I live for leather jackets, so to see a puffer version is a big win.

This one-shoulder bra actually stays in place.

My favorite black leggings just have to be high-waisted.

Sometimes, it feels too revealing for me to walk around after a workout in just my sports bra and shorts, so bringing a white button-down shirt along with me is always a good idea.

It’s giving Creamsicle.

You can’t go wrong with an eco-friendly buy that’s also on sale.

My cotton poplin shirts need to have an added edge, and the cuffs on this one will certainly do.

When I want my activewear set to do all the talking, I look for a statement print. I think anything inspired by one of my favorite animals will work.

Animal instincts are tingling.

I can imagine wearing these leggings in so many different ways.

Sneakers that are as lightweight as a second skin will certainly be comfortable.
