A new year almost always comes with resolutions. This year, the tradition resulted in my promising to cut down on shopping and pick back up my running habit. That’s how I found myself jogging along the west side of Central Park on New Year’s Day, only to somehow end up at Nordstrom‘s front door. While I should have held off and resisted the strong urge to step inside, I didn’t. Instead, I broke my resolution one day in and went off at 10 in the morning into the Half-Yearly Sale section. Surprise, surprise.

From elegant and affordable outerwear that I’m prepared to replace all of my expensive designer coats with to ultra-luxe footwear and accessories from the likes of Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, and Tory Burch that are shockingly marked down, the 28 Half-Yearly Sale items I discovered during my two-hour jaunt around Nordstrom’s NYC flagship are nothing if not impressive. Before the deals end on January 8, shop every last one below.

Tip: Size down—this coat really is oversize.

Every It sweater of 2024 thus far is brushed like this.

I’m in my dark-wash-denim era.

I’ve been lusting over these since they came out, and now that they’re half off, I simply have to have them. Plus, Bottega Veneta’s shoes are seriously comfortable thanks to the pads on the soles of most pairs.

Love.

A perfectly slouchy turtleneck.

Leave your stained and tattered work tote in 2023.

The perfect pair for all of your tailored maxi skirts and trousers.

Sofia Richie Grainge, Hailey Bieber, and I all share a love for this iconic denim brand.

If I’m choosing between cashmere and another option, you can bet I’m picking cashmere every single time.

Simply lovely.

I’ve already thought of a dozen ways to wear this halter top.

Sale season is the perfect time to score designer sunnies for a fraction of the price.

There’s nothing stuffy and corporate about this fuzzy blazer.

Great black jeans are just as essential as blue ones.

Yes, I absolutely did snag one of these.

There’s so much good Interior stuff on sale right now. Trust me—I tried on every piece I could find in my size.

I have Loewe loafers that look just like this.

I own too many trenches, yet I need this one in a serious way.

This blazer is so elegant—I can’t.

You’ll probably own this sweater for the rest of time.

Layer this muscle tank underneath so the collar pops out.

Corporatecore is trending, and this skirt is a perfect fit for the trend.

Nothing beats a simple pair of ankle boots.

These will dress up any and every outfit.

This color is just as luxe and versatile as black.

I’ll never stop loving Barbiecore.

February 14 isn’t that far away. Shop for date night (either with your S.O. or your BFFs) early and on sale.
