India’s cabinet has approved the Export Promotion Mission, announced in the FY26 budget to strengthen export competitiveness, particularly for MSMEs, first-time exporters and labour-intensive sectors.
The mission is expected to facilitate access to affordable finance for MSMEs and export readiness through compliance and certification support, and generate manufacturing and logistics jobs.
