India has restricted imports of certain jute products from Bangladesh via land ports, allowing them only through the Nhava Sheva Seaport.
The DGFT notification covers four HS codes, including woven jute fabrics, twine, rope, cables, and jute sacks.
Other terms of the June 2025 notification remain unchanged, tightening trade controls through the land border.
