Indian PM Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron called for early implementation of the India-EU FTA as both leaders met yesterday in Nice.
This was their first meeting since the elevation of bilateral ties to ‘Special Global Strategic Partnership’ earlier this year.
Both agreed to set up a high-level mechanism to double bilateral trade within five years and strengthen supply chain resilience.
