India has reduced export incentives under the RoDTEP scheme by 50 per cent, cutting earlier notified rates and value ceilings with immediate effect.
The move follows a lower budgetary allocation of ₹10,000 crore (~$1,099.97 million) for fiscal 2026-27, down from ₹18,232.50 crore (~$2,005.52 million) in 2025-26.
The revision signals tighter fiscal management and a shift towards targeted export support.
