Despite longstanding economic ties between India and Nigeria, bilateral textile trade has not reached its full potential, Indian high commissioner to Nigeria Abhishek Singh recently said.
The former is ready to support the latter’s textile revival agenda through investments across the value chain.
India is exploring collaboration between its NIFT and the Nigerian Fashion Institute in Lagos, he added.
