India and Uzbekistan have signed a protocol concluding their bilateral market access talks, a key step in the latter’s ongoing accession to the WTO, Uzbek presidential WTO envoy Azizbek Urunov announced recently on LinkedIn.
The substantive agreements with the Indian side regarding market access were reached in 2024.
Uzbekistan is now working to secure its full WTO membership before the end of 2026.
