CITI has urged the government to extend the RoSCTL scheme beyond March 2026 for at least five years and revise rebate rates to offset rising costs and unreimbursed taxes.
It also seeks wider coverage and DBT support.
The body says the scheme protects jobs, sustains apparel exports worth $22 billion, and is vital amid US tariffs and global headwinds.
