The cabinet in India’s Odisha state has cleared a proposal by Shree Ambica Cotspin Pvt. Ltd. to set up a spinning unit in Bolangir district.
The ₹1.24 billion project, expected to directly employ 300, aims at strengthening the textile value chain in the state, particularly in the Kalahandi-Bolangir-Koraput region and other districts that have lagged in industrial development.
