India’s textile and apparel exports fell 4.26 per cent YoY to $3.08 billion in February 2026.
Apparel exports dropped 8.6 per cent, while textiles slipped 0.31 per cent.
Weakness was seen in cotton and carpet exports, though handicrafts rose.
Cumulative exports during April–February also declined, with the sector’s share in total exports easing.
