India’s textile and apparel exports rose by 3.37 per cent year-on-year to $9.08 billion in Q1 FY26, driven by an 8.91 per cent rise in apparel exports.
However, textile exports dipped slightly. June data showed similar trends.
Imports of raw cotton and waste surged by over 70 per cent.
