India’s textile and apparel exports rose by 3.37 per cent year-on-year to $9.08 billion in Q1 FY26, driven by an 8.91 per cent rise in apparel exports.
However, textile exports dipped slightly. June data showed similar trends.
Imports of raw cotton and waste surged by over 70 per cent.
FY25 closed with 10.03 per cent growth in apparel exports and a 3.61 per cent rise in textile exports.
