India’s wholesale price index (WPI)-based inflation rose to 2.38 per cent in February, mainly due to a rise in fuel and power prices along with higher manufacturing, ministry of commerce and industry data revealed.
The figure is higher than 2.31 per cent, the January rate.
The WPI for manufactured products rose by 0.42 per cent.
The month-on-month change in WPI for February was 0.06 per cent.
