Chandra Asri Group’s CA-EDC plant in Cilegon has reached 50 per cent completion, entering peak construction ahead of targeted operations in Q1 2027.
The project is set to strengthen Indonesia’s basic chemicals capacity, substitute IDR 4.9 trillion (~$291.8 million) in caustic soda imports and generate up to IDR 5 trillion annually from EDC exports, while creating jobs and supporting MSMEs.
