Bangladesh’s general point-to-point inflation rate eased to 8.17 per cent in October this year from 8.36 per cent in September, according to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics.
This slight decline was attributed primarily to a downtrend in food inflation.
The non-food inflation rate, however, increased to 9.13 per cent in October from 8.98 per cent in the preceding month.
