Iran, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan recently signed a protocol to expand cooperation on developing a multimodal transport corridor linking Central Asia with Europe.
Strategies to raise freight throughput and optimise operational efficacy of supply chains were discussed.
They agreed on harmonised freight conditions and tariff rates to boost container traffic along the corridor and to third countries.
