Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries weakened in August 2025, according to Istat.
Exports fell 7.7 per cent year-on-year and imports 3.1 per cent, while month-on-month declines were sharper at 8.1 per cent and 7.1 per cent, respectively.
Over the last three months, exports dipped 0.1 per cent and imports 0.8 per cent.
The trade surplus narrowed to €1,777 million (~$2.08 billion) in August.
