Nextchem and Siemens Energy have signed an MoU to develop a modular methanol high-temperature fuel cell, initially targeting the yachting sector.
Nextchem will design the fuel cell, while Siemens Energy handles system integration.
The solution enables net-zero vessel operations and has broader applications in stationary power and industrial processes.
