Mitsubishi Chemical has developed a PFAS-free technology to coat paper with its SoarnoL EVOH resin, giving high gas-barrier and oil-resistant properties even under heat and folding.
The developed solution is suitable for direct food contact, helps preserve food quality, and targets adoption in fiscal 2026 amid tightening global PFAS regulations.
