Kuraray will expand production of optical-use poval film at its Saijo Plant in response to growing global demand driven by high-resolution, large-screen LCDs.
The new line will produce high-quality, thin films (45 μm or less) used in polarized film for LCDs.
Kuraray aims to strengthen supply and enhance product quality to meet evolving market needs.
