Lenzing AG and Energie AG Umwelt Service extended their RVL partnership to 2040, securing long-term energy supply and climate goals at the Lenzing site.
The waste-to-energy plant processes ~300,000 t/year, replacing up to 85m Nm³ of gas.
A 2026/27 retrofit will boost availability and meet stricter 2024 emission rules, supporting circular economy and rail-based logistics.
