MAIRE announced that Nextchem, through Stamicarbon, has secured a licensing and Process Design Package contract from US-based AdvanSix for a new urea-to-Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) plant in Virginia.
The facility will feature a 700 STPD urea melt plant using NX STAMI Urea technology, with all output dedicated to DEF production to support rising demand driven by stricter emission norms.
