Turkiye’s economic confidence index rose by 0.8 per cent MoM to 97.2 in May 2026, recovering from April’s decline, according to TurkStat.
Manufacturing confidence increased by 2.4 per cent to 101, while retail trade and consumer confidence also improved.
Retail trade recorded the highest confidence level at 112.5, whereas construction remained the weakest sector with an index of 82.1.
