March retail trade volume down 0.1% MoM in eurozone; up 0.3% in EU

The seasonally-adjusted retail trade volume fell by 0.1 per cent month on month (MoM) in the euro area and rose by 0.3 per cent MoM in the EU in March, first estimates show.
The calendar-adjusted retail sales index rose by 1.2 per cent YoY in the euro area and 1.9 per cent YoY in the EU in March.
In February, retail trade volume fell by 0.3 per cent MoM in the euro area and by 0.5 per cent MoM in the EU.
