May German import prices 1.1% lower YoY, export prices 1% higher YoY

Import prices in Germany were 1.1 per cent lower YoY and 0.7 per cent down month on month (MoM) in May, official statistics show.
Export prices in May 2025 were 1 per cent higher YoY and were unchanged MoM.
When energy prices are excluded, import prices in May were 0.4 per cent higher YoY; they were 0.3 per cent lower MoM.
Energy exports in May were lower YoY and MoM.
