Naphtha prices rebounded nearly 15 per cent from the April 21 low of $0.925/kg to $1.063/kg by May 6, supported by WTI crude recovering above $100 per barrel.
However, a sharp divergence on May 4, when naphtha fell despite higher crude, highlighted fragile downstream demand.
Acrylic staple fibre remained stable near $2.45/kg amid cautious buying and geopolitical uncertainty.
