Nordstrom Is Having a Sneaky Sale, and I’m Freaking Out About How Good It Is Posted by The Secret Butterfly | January 22, 2022 | Fashion News | 0 | I’m honestly blown away. Some sales have big blowout moments, like Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale or Amazon’s Prime Day. There’s a ton of build up and PR, and to be honest, sometimes it can consequently feel overwhelming and or quickly picked over. That’s why I’m a big fan of the sly little side sale (don’t forget to bookmark the page with all of our sale coverage). Usually they’re not hyped up a ton, and accordingly actually has a ton of hidden gems. Nordstrom’s River Island sale falls in that category—25% off now through February 2nd—so I had to take a peek, and was actually surprised at how many great items I found. I scrolled through all fourteen pages of products and culled the best here, all while taking mental notes about which products I’m going to text to my friends. The sale just got started, so start scrolling while the getting is good, and before my friends get there! From the caramel color to the shacket details like the pocket, this jacket is an absolute winner. This coat also comes in a pretty, wearable green. You had us at ruching. The half-zip sweater is a trend with real longevity. I like that this buttery yellow color feels a bit outside the norm. There’s something substantial about this cute cardigan. At this price, suddenly a statement coat makes sense. This deep chocolate color is heavenly. Cute! Vest! Alert! I have this theory that buying trousers isn’t really fun, but then they’re something you wear a ton. This pair feels timeless and cool. Everyone needs a sassy little knit dress in their closet. A gorgeous blazer under $100 is a steal in our book. Okay wait these jeans look triple the price. We love a vest at Who What Wear HQ. A stretchy, thin, printed turtleneck will get a ton of wear. Why, hello gorgeous! In our book, these jeans are the perfect fit. The crop makes them easy to wear, they are form-fitting around the top, and relaxed through the leg. Just in case you need the matching cardigan too. The cozy polo top is the ideal trend. Easy to wear and stylish, without looking like you’re trying too hard. Three words we love to see together: stretch cotton trousers. Basically these will feel like workout pants, but look much more put together. It’s hard to find good denim at this price, and these are checking a ton of boxes. What a darling find. A front slit on slightly flared trousers creates a flattering effect. Both of these cute pieces for $66? I’m blown away. This vest would look suepr cool layered over a trench coat. The fit of these relaxed black trousers is bang on. Easy statement dresses are a) an easy way to get dressed and b) compliment magnets. We can’t stop staring at this gorgeous statement collar and pearl buttons. I wouldn’t call gold pants a staple per se, but I think they’re more wearable than you’d think and could be downright fun to own. The longer the shacket the better in my book. Plissé is a dream fabric; it never wrinkles and looks incredible luxe. The kind of throw-on-and-go dress that will become a wardrobe workhorse. You coolest vegan leather pants just got a sporty makeover. A perfectly pretty top for just about any spring outing. I’m seriously impressed with how good the River Island jeans are looking, and this loose-fit gray pair is no exception. She also comes in easy black, if you prefer. We’re suckers for a raw edge. The kind of coat that will be in style for decades to come. This gorgeous knit comes in three colors, and we just might need them all. You know you need a cottagecore vest in your life. In awe of how luxe this faux fur looks. I love the contrast of the sweet florals on a slightly edgier black knit. Don’t miss the pearl buttons either. A work top that doesn’t compromise on cool. A cut-out plus asymmetry? It’s the most interesting easy black top ever! This is your sign to start wearing more color. Besides, this blazer looks very expensive. Best for last?
