Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated a ₹100 crore (~$11.033 million) textile park in Keonjhar on February 14, with Hindalco Industries secured as the anchor investor.
Hindalco plans a seven-acre unit producing around 24 lakh garments annually.
The initiative aims to diversify Keonjhar’s mining-led economy, boost private investment and generate employment.
