Orlen has agreed to acquire full ownership of S54 from Synthos for about PLN 692 million (~$192.83 million), securing control of the butadiene extraction unit under construction at its Plock plant.
The deal strengthens Orlen’s petrochemical value chain, resolves legacy issues, reshapes Czech JV agreements, and supports the New Chemicals strategy with improved flexibility and cooperation terms.
