QatarEnergy has signed an MoU with TotalEnergies, ConocoPhillips and the Syrian Petroleum Company to explore cooperation in offshore oil and gas exploration in Syria.
The agreement focuses on a technical review of Block 3, offshore Latakia, and sets the basis for further commercial talks.
QatarEnergy said the move supports its international upstream growth strategy.
