Real (price-adjusted) production in German industry was down by 0.7 per cent month on month (MoM) in March 2026 after seasonal and calendar adjustment, according to provisional official data.
The less volatile quarter -on-quarter comparison showed production was 1.2 per cent lower in the January-March 2026 period.
It was down by 2.8 per cent YoY in March after adjustment for calendar effects.
