Retail sales of goods in Vietnam up 9.3% YoY in Jan; 7.6% for garments

The total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in Vietnam in January this year was estimated at 632.4 trillion VND (~$24.43 billion)—up by 2.6 per cent month on month and 9.3 per cent YoY, official statistics show.
Retail sales of goods were estimated at 487.4 trillion VND, accounting for the largest share and increasing 9.3 per cent YoY.
Sales of garments rose by 7.6 per cent YoY.
