SABIC has partnered with Zuyderland Medical Center and industry players to recycle non-contaminated medical plastic waste into new contact-sensitive packaging.
Using advanced recycling, SABIC converted waste into certified circular polyethylene from its TRUCIRCLE portfolio, enabling Coveris and Mölnlycke to create medical packaging and drapes containing up to 49 per cent recycled content.
