Shell Nederland Raffinaderij BV will not restart construction of its planned biofuels facility in Rotterdam after a review found it commercially uncompetitive.
Shell continues to invest in lower carbon solutions, having spent $8 billion since 2023, trading 10 billion+ litres of low-carbon fuels in 2024, and advancing CCS, hydrogen, and energy transition projects in the Netherlands.
