South Africa’s textile and textile article imports rose by 1.5 per cent to 31.21 billion rand (~$1.7 billion) in H1 2025, according to the South African Revenue Service.
Exports increased 5.4 per cent to 12.15 billion rand.
June trade also showed growth on a monthly basis.
In 2024, annual imports and exports rose by 10 per cent and 1.8 per cent respectively.
