Sri Lanka’s economy grew by 4.9 per cent year on year (YoY) in Q2 2025, official data show.
The Q2 GDP at constant prices was SLR 2,883,559 million (~$9.55 billion) compared to SLR 2,749,504 million (~$9.10 billion) in Q2 2024, the Department of Census and Statistics under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development reported.
Industrial activity expanded by 5.8 per cent YoY in the quarter.
