Sri Lanka’s GDP at constant prices grew by 5 per cent YoY in 2025 to SLR 13,128,577 million (~$42.18 billion), according to the official data.
The industrial sector expanded by 7.8 per cent, compared with an 11.1 per cent growth in 2024.
The manufacturing sector rose by 6.2 per cent, while textiles, apparel and related products recorded a stronger growth of 8 per cent during the year.
