Technip Energies has secured a contract from Long Son Petrochemicals in Vietnam to upgrade its steam cracker by shifting from naphtha to ethane feedstock.
The project enhances efficiency, lowers costs, and reduces carbon intensity, while strengthening feedstock flexibility and long-term resilience in a volatile petrochemical market.
It also marks a rare global conversion project.
