President Donald Trump has announced in Tokyo major projects advancing Japan’s previous $550-billion investment commitment to the US to revitalise the US industrial base.
Manufacturing and logistics investments include $600 million to upgrade southern US ports and waterways.
He signed a critical minerals pact, secured purchases of US energy and deepened cooperation in combatting illegal drug trafficking.
